As our new Factory Service Technician for Europe, you’ll play a key role in driving growth and strengthening our presence in some of Europe’s most dynamic markets. At some point, other countries could be added to this list through consultation.
We are a manufacturer of high-performance plastic and metal conveyor belts serving the food processing and industrial manufacturing sectors. Our products are integral to equipment such as spiral systems, including ovens, freezers, proofers, coolers, fryers, and dryers, operating in demanding production environments.
We are seeking an experienced Factory Service Technician with a strong mechanical background to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor belt systems across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, install and commission conveyor belts and related mechanical drive components, and other relevant components on industrial food processing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure optimal belt tracking and tension.
· Identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and propose effective solutions.
- Conduct on-site audits, preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on-site.
- Provide technical feedback and service documentation to engineering and production teams.
What You Bring
- Technical diploma or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Maintenance.
- 3–5 years’ experience in installation or service of conveyor or material-handling systems.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical assemblies, alignment, and drive systems.
- Basic electrical and pneumatic knowledge is an advantage.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.
- Good English communication skills; additional European languages a plus.
- Familiarity with food-industry equipment and hygiene standards preferred.
