Ashworth recently announced the immediate availability of brand new Omni-Pro^TM all-metal spiral belt. This belt offers a high strength solution (400 lb tension rating in spiral or turn curve applications) that is easily cleaned, and features a patent-pending link design that helps strengthen the belt while extending its service life. The new link features an extended outside leg that positions the rod-to-link weld so that it is in a protected position. This means that the weld never comes in contact with spiral cage bars or belt support system, so that the cage bar caps last longer and the whole system runs more smoothly. The new link is also designed to better support the weld, so that there is far less tension on the weld compared to more traditional designs. This feature substantially reduces the possibility of weld, and ultimately, belt failure.
