The Advantage spiral belts are designed for freezing and cooling applications and have truly superior sanitation characteristics due to the open module design and double slotted links.

The stainless steel rods of the Advantage belts are impervious to harsh detergents. Conventional modular plastic conveyor belt designs can trap food and cleaning solution residues in the hinge area between the rod and the module. These residues can contaminate your product and over time, aggressive cleaning solutions can weaken plastic rods.

A backbone of stainless steel rods adds beam strength that allows the Advantage belts to support heavier product loads using less support rails and without sagging.

The Advantage design also provides the largest open area available in spiral belting today - 67% - for maximum airflow and cleanability, without compromising product support. In fact, ETL, an independent testing agency found the Advantage belts to have up to 370% less pressure drop than the leading competitors' all-plastic belts. This allows spiral evaporator fans to run with less resistance and use less energy.
NO BLACK SPECKS - GUARANTEED
The metal/plastic hybrid design of the Advantage eliminates the possibility of black specks. With the acetal plastic modules and links, there is no instance of stainless steel rubbing against stainless steel, a primary cause of black speck.

EASY INSTALLATION & REPAIR
When installing or repairing a belt, you need to be up and running again as soon as possible. The Advantage belts feature Ashworth's patented rod-locking system, which requires no clips or fasteners. Rods can be removed or installed on the system in seconds, using only a screwdriver. Unlike plastic rods, steel rods retain their original shape and remain easy to remove, even after years of operation.
